Hello,

 

My name is Ronda Taylor. I’m an author, poet, and storyteller living in Charleston, SC.

Poetry is my first love. It’s where I feel most at home to be my authentic self. During my college experience, my passion for poetry and children’s books collided together to create the beautiful writing world I know today. With a heart devoted to serving the community, I find joy in celebrating childhood and nurturing the inner child within us all.

 

While roaming the shelves of a popular bookstore, I noticed how limited the books were in their diversity. As a Black woman, I did not see myself or my community reflected in many of the books. I decided to be a part of the change.

Seen Heard Loved Publishing, LLC is a sacred space for future generations to hold books in their hands where they can fully see themselves, connect with their voice, and own their story. Between the spaces of each word, I want readers to hear, "You are seen, heard, and loved."
